UFSIN of the Russian Federation of the Republic of Mordovia reports:

Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation of the new coronavirus infection in the institutions of UFSIN of the Russian Federation of the Republic of Mordovia, restrictive measures were introduced to prevent the spread the new coronavirus infection, as well as to prevent the disease among suspects, accused, convicted persons and employees of institutions.

According to decree № 23 of 05.07.2021 the chief state sanitary doctor of FKUZ MSCh-13 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia of UFSIN of the Russian Federation of the Republic of Mordovia from 08.07.2021 until a special order is canceled providing long visits, providing short-term visits are carried out in special rooms equipped with safety glass and intercom with the mandatory use of personal protective equipment.

Parcels and packages (according to the schedule of the parcel room) are accepted with the observance of additional sanitary-epidemiological (preventive) measures aimed at preventing and spreading infectious diseases.

In addition, in order to prevent the entry and spread of diseases in institutions of the penal and correctional system of the Russian Federation, a set of other sanitary and anti-epidemic (preventive) measures are organized and implemented, including the restriction of mass activities. Visits of inmates with persons providing legal assistance and those involved in forensic investigations are provided in the short-term visitation rooms through the glass with personal protective equipment (masks, shoe covers, gloves).

We ask relatives of suspects, accused and convicted persons to treat with understanding to the introduction of restrictive measures. Their cancellation will be announced additionally, including on the official website of UFSIN of the Russian Federation of the Republic of Mordovia.
