The provision of long visits is resumed in the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Smolensk region from April 23, 2021

In connection with the stable sanitary and epidemiological situation in the institutions of the penal correction system of the Smolensk region, the provision of long visits to convicts has been resumed since 23.04.2021 in accordance with the schedule approved by the head of the institution, as well as with compliance with all sanitary and hygienic requirements and preventive measures.

In order to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection among convicts, as well as among employees and employees of institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Smolensk region, the procedure for admission of relatives to visits has been determined.

Relatives of convicts will be allowed for long visits only if there are:

- negative result of laboratory examination on the COVID-19 by PCR, carried out not later than 3 days before the date of the visit;

- or a vaccination certificate of completed vaccination against COVID-19.

We remind you that when you are in the premises for long visits, relatives and convicts must use personal protective equipment (masks, gloves). When a mask violation is established, the date is immediately terminated.

Employees of the institutions will organize incoming monitoring of the state of health with measurement of body temperature and collection of information on the state of health. Persons with increased body temperature or the presence of other signs of acute respiratory disease will not be allowed for long visits. In case of subsequent detection of signs of acute respiratory illness or increased temperature of visitors or convicts, a long-term visit will be immediately terminated.

We ask the relatives of the convicts to treat with understanding the current sanitary and epidemiological restrictions.
