The provision of short-term visits with relatives was resumed in the institutions of UFSIN of the Russian Federation in the Jewish Autonomous Region, from March 25, 2021. The removal of the previously established regime-restrictive measure concerns Correctional Colony No. 10, Medical Correctional Institution No. 2, Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1, Colony-Settlement No. 4.
In order to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection among convicts and employees of institutions of the penal correction system of the region, when organizing visits of suspects, accused and convicted persons with relatives, a decree of the chief state doctor of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia determined the appropriate procedure.
Among other things, the provision of short-term visits in premises with glass, using personal protective equipment by all participants of visits and employees of the penal correction system, the use of ultraviolet bactericidal installations in the premises, the presence of dispensers with antiseptics for hands, the provision of seating for participants taking into account the principle of social distancing. If violations of the procedure for using personal protective equipment are detected, the visit will immediately cease.
The rules for visiting institutions by relatives are placed on the stands of visual agitation in each institution. It is organized an entrance control of the state of health of visitors with measurement of body temperature in institutions. Citizens with signs of acute respiratory illness and high fever are not allowed in institutions.
The implementation of restrictive measures introduced by regulatory acts and administrative documents in terms of preventing and combating the spread of viral infection continues. Long visits have been suspended. Reception of parcels, transmissions and packages in institutions is carried out according to the schedule of the transmission reception room, but with mandatory observance of sanitary and anti-epidemic (preventive) measures. The sanitary and epidemiological situation in the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Jewish Autonomous Region is stable and under constant control.
