In connection with the continued spread of a new coronavirus infection, as well as according to the decision of the chief sanitary doctor of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, regime-restrictive events continue to operate from 18.01.2021 to special instructions in subordinate institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Moscow.

Reception of suspects, accused and convicted persons is carried out only in FKU SIZO-7 UFSIN of Russian Federation on Moscow, and reception of the arrested following in transit through the city of Moscow carries out FKU SIZO-12 UFSIN of Russian Federation on Moscow.

From January 25, 2021, short-term dates with relatives and other persons are allowed in institutions, which are carried out through glass in compliance with the requirements of personal protection (in masks and gloves). The order of the queue is determined by the pre-electronic record. However, long dates to relatives and other persons with suspects, accused persons and convicted persons continue to be suspended.

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection when receiving parcels and packages certain precautions are accepted. . The reception of packages in the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Moscow is carried out in order of priority with the observance of a time interval of at least 30 minutes. The order of the queue is also determined by the pre-electronic record. Real transfers for newly received in the institution are received out of turn.

Before leaving institutions, each of the suspects, accused persons and convicted persons must undergo a medical examination and must be provided with personal protective equipment.

The entrance into the territory of institutions of representatives of federal executive bodies, executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, public monitoring commissions and other persons is still limited. They will be able to visit suspects, accused and convicted persons in the rooms of investigative offices with personal protective equipment.

Investigators, interrogators and lawyers (defenders) will also be able to visit suspects, accused and convicted persons in the rooms of investigative offices with personal protective equipment (protective suits, masks, shoes and gloves).

Such measures are dictated by the need to protect suspects, accused and convicted persons from infection in SIZO.

In addition, in order to prevent entry and the spread of diseases caused by coronavirus infection, a number of other sanitary and anti-epidemic (preventive) events are being organized and implemented in institutions of the penal system of the Russian Federation.
